Not quite what it used to be
📅
Maybe social media doesn't have to be this way.
Social Media Got Weird
Maybe you've noticed that social media has become… a little different.
Not necessarily better.
X
X feels more and more like a ghost town.
Bots, AI-generated profiles, spam replies, and endless junk content are everywhere.
The feed seems to decide what you should see. Somehow, you keep getting more of the same stuff you never asked for.
And when the platform itself is running verified AI accounts to create more content and activity, you have to wonder: What are you actually looking at?
Instagram is great if you want to watch other people's carefully edited lives.
Everyone looks happy, successful, attractive, and busy doing something amazing.
After a while, it can feel less like being social and more like browsing one giant advertisement.
Facebook still works.
But you can randomly get flagged as a bot.
Then you have to prove that you're a real person. Scan your face. Submit documents. Do everything they ask.
And after all that, an AI system can still reject your appeal.
Then there's the bigger question:
How much data is being collected about you?
What is it being used for?
And how much of it did you actually agree to in the privacy policy?
And Then There's the Price
Across social apps, more and more things seem to come with a price.
Want more control? Premium.
Want more features? Premium.
Want more visibility? Premium.
At some point, you start wondering why using a social app has to come with a constant choice between your attention, your data, and your money.
Maybe it doesn't have to be this way.
So here's another option.
Something simpler.
Something you can just use and see if you like it.
